The location of this place is great, just a short walk from a medieval cathedral, and it's also near the Michelangelo museums, the city downtown, and historic center.

Had clean room with a very large bed bigger than a super king size uk bed and wake-up service was available in it. There where an electric kettle and glassware.

Location very close to the statue of David as well as the Cathedral. The a double room was luxurious with original 1860 frescoed ceiling, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Extra care from the very-very nice staff.

The decor and ambience made us feel like we were truly in Florence, while the bed comfort was mind-blowing. The sense of independence, almost like home, was a super pleasant surprise. Rita, Giuseppe, and the staff were jaw-droppingly sympathetic. And don't even get me started on the coffee and cappuccino in the morning - the best we've ever had in a hotel!

The hotel had a charming and traditional Italian decor that made me feel like I was in a cozy Italian home. The common areas were beautifully decorated with classic furniture and artwork, which created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Being a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The staff kindly assisted me with any assistance I needed, such as carrying my luggage and providing clear directions around the hotel. They even ensured that the hallways and common areas were well-lit, making it safe and easy for me to navigate around the hotel.
I would have loved to have a wider selection of activities or entertainment options specifically designed for senior guests. It would have been wonderful if the hotel offered some organized day trips or excursions tailored for older travelers, allowing us to explore the city at a more leisurely pace.

We got great value for our money at Firenze Capitale! The room was spacious with a lovely balcony, and the overall atmosphere was cozy. The location was perfect, within walking distance of key attractions but away from the tourist crowds. The staff were super nice, helpful, and responsive.
The breakfast experience could have been better with more variety.
